Junii was born out of my personal battle with depression. After years of struggling, a failed marriage and a bankruptcy I found myself at rock bottom with dark thoughts. I turned to self-development books hoping to rebuild myself and figure out this thing called life.
As I devoured books I started to change - but painfully slowly. Many of those books either did not resonate with me or were all theory. I was also overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information available - and I found that most was useless.
Worse yet, despite all the knowledge I read I wasn’t taking consistent action - the missing piece was accountability. No one was there to push me, to guide me, or to keep me focused on my goals. I needed a coach, someone to help me apply the mountain of knowledge I had read. But let’s face it: hiring a life coach costs hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. It wasn’t an option for me.
Fortunately, I have a background in software design and project management, so I did what any tech-savvy person would do - I went looking for a high-tech solution. I soon became disappointed with the apps available. Most centered around education only, meditation or goal tracking. None actually guided me or held me accountable. That’s when I discovered the world of AI.
I started experimenting and envisioning a future where everyone could access a personal success coach at their fingertips.
